Uratex Now Powered with RE Through Retail Aggregation Program
Under RAP, Uratex selected Jin Navitas Electric Corporation (JNEC) as its retail electricity supplier, allowing it to consolidate the electricity requirements of its 23 showrooms across Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, and Laguna.
Uratex Managing Director Peachy Medina highlighted the strong alignment between the two organizations, describing JNEC as a “kindred spirit” that shares Uratex's commitment to being “maka-Diyos, makatao, makabayan, and makakalikasan.”
JNEC President and CEO Jose Alfonso C. Miras highlighted how the partnership provides Uratex with more competitive electricity costs and access to the growing renewable energy portfolio of Jin Navitas Solaris Inc. (SOLARIS), JNEC's affiliated renewable energy company. Among these projects is NING*NING, SOLARIS' first-in-the-world rooftop solar energy project built on top of socialized housing, which Joy~Nostalg Group Executive Officer Mr. Jacinto C. Ng, Jr. described as a source of “redemptive energy.”
ERC, represented by Ms. Maranatha Estalilla, noted that Uratex is showing the manufacturing sector that sustainability and market efficiency are not just nice-to-haves, but “the fuel for future growth.”
The partnership strengthens Uratex's commitment to cleaner operations, greater energy efficiency, and its mission of Providing Comfort to People, Community, and Planet. By helping Uratex manage the electricity costs of its showroom operations, JNEC helps make essential goods and services more affordable and accessible to ordinary Filipinos.
