Big Philippines Switches to JNEC for Retail Electricity Supply
The ceremonial signing, held at Big Philippines' production facility in Silang, Cavite, marks the company's transition to JNEC under the Department of Energy's Retail Competition and Open Access program. The switch is expected to help improve power reliability and better manage electricity costs for the company.
Big Philippines manufactures plastic components used in products such as camera lenses, laptop cooling systems, and parts for copiers, fax machines, and printers. With JNEC as its power supplier, the company aims to support its daily operations more efficiently.
A portion of JNEC's supply to Big Philippines will come from SOLARIS' NING*NING solar rooftop facility in Naic, Caviteโa utility-scale installation deployed across the rooftops of socialized housing units at Pasinaya Homes. SOLARIS is a renewable energy company driving the shift to clean and sustainable power in the country.
This partnership reinforces JNEC's growing reputation as a dependable provider in the retail electricity market.
